Parisian hotspots - January 2016

A moveable feast. Now more than ever, we need to celebrate Paris and maybe go and get the inspiration, as Ernest Hemingway did at his time, in the bars, restaurants and hotels of the French capital. We have gathered below all the new hotspots and upcoming projects of our Taste & Travel department.

Mathis bar and Mathis restaurant, back in the game !

Re-opening January 2016
The boys from the Experimental Group, Olivier Bon, Pierre-Charles Cros et Romée de Goriainoff have taken on a new challenge with the formerly famous Mathis bar and restaurant. Their idea here is to open a new season without changing the core philosophy of the place nor making it a jet-set location. Nothing flashy here. On the restaurant side, the ceilings with rich mouldings, the paintings from Ecole de Barbizon, the tassel ceiling lights and the comfortable seats suggest impressionist inspirations. Celadon and deep red. The restaurant and the bar respond to each other elegantly.
