Anticipation Festival reopens for a second edition

Following the success of its first edition in 2023 which brought together 6,000 visitors at the Climate Academy in Paris, Anticipation Festival — opened for its second edition at La Gaîté Lyrique on 20-22 September 2024.

To deliver concrete action to address the climate crisis, the festival creates a space to write new narratives and envision a desirable future.

More than 20 artists and speakers are joined the event to educate the public and businesses on planetary boundaries through art and culture-based experiences, and conversations to collectively envision the world of tomorrow.

Over the course of three days, this free and open-to-all event explored the connections between art and sustainability through a multidisciplinary programme: contemporary art exhibitions, design pieces, art performances, projections, concerts, conferences, roundtables and workshops…

A one-of-a-kind event with a positive impact

Anticipation Festival is a project born of the intersection of two perspectives — art and sustainability — embodied by Philippine Watelet, Founder of togaether — an art production & exhibition design firm — and Romain Peton, Co-Founder of TACTIC/14SEPTEMBRE — a sustainability strategy consultancy agency part of extreme Group.

The event aims at democratising art and sustainability, changing cultural representations to transform our world, both on an individual and a collective scale, raising awareness about the climate emergency, and engaging every visitor into taking an active part in a sustainable transition.

To achieve those goals, Anticipation Festival features art exhibitions, a concert, performances and projections, conferences, roundtables, and educational workshops for the public and companies, with installations entirely made from recyclable materials.
