The new Collection 2019>2021 launched at the Salone del Mobile

Abet Laminati attended the International Furniture Fair in Milan for the first time with a stand completely designed by Paola Navone: an imaginative space where everything was made of laminate and where the brand's latest novelties went on show.

Abet Laminati was one of the companies to take part to S.Project, the new exhibiting space that the International Furniture Fair created to host the latest design solutions and materials for interior architecture. The company from Bra (Piedmont) launched the 2019>2021 Collection in a colorful booth designed by Paola Navone, its historical art director, to highlight the latest surfaces, finishes and applications resulting from its tireless research.

The booth was therefore created to invite visitors to pause and discover what was going on inside this imaginative and colorful space where everything is made of laminate. The walls. The floors. The furniture. The objects.

Just as in an intriguing theatre where the actors are surfaces, Paola Navone conceived small sets that tell a bit of world history through the colors and patterns that Abet Laminati produces. A fantastic journey across decades and continents was depicted in a somewhat unexpected and pop way.
Thus, four small dioramas condensed the entire geography of the earth, mixing shapes and textures that tell the story of the North, South, East and West of the world. Two installations made of irregularly stacked cubes made the new colours dialogue with the digitally printed patterns while the iconic furniture of Italian Design took us back for a moment to the birth of the creative charm between Abet Laminati and design.

Along with the new patterns like Febo, the first collection designed by Ugo Nespolo for Abet Laminati, and the new finished like Auarama and Dharma, Abet Laminati presented SlidingCore, an innovative new application and Print Acoustics, the sound absorbing laminate.
